ABOUT SARA-ELLA
Sara-Ella Ozbek was born in America and raised in London. After receiving a BA honours in English Literature she worked in fashion for several years before going onto study screenwriting in New York. Her debut novel The High Moments was published by Simon & Schuster in 2020. Her second novel Nothing I Wouldn't Do was released by the same publisher in July 2021. Other work has appeared in The Independent, Upstate Diary, Tatler, Because, Suitcase, Voyage D'etudes & Soho House Notes.
Sara-Ella has adapted Polly Stenham's Julie, as a feature for Standalone Pictures and has written another script for the same company. She is also working on an original TV comedy with Company Pictures and is developing a musical production for The Young Vic and Birmingham Rep theatre alongside composer Richard Thomas.
